training run #375

Posted on Updated on

Tuesday 10 January, 06:04.

Cold, 4C, dark, clear skies with a full moon.  Went for usual 7 mile run around Rother Valley with head torch.  Took it easy and stiff right calf quickly wore off and enjoyed the run.  Garmin again measured less than usual for this route, and with the easy effort and resulting low HR it’s given me a relatively slow (for me) pace statistic.  Never mind 🙂

Distance:  11.32km (usually measures as 11.6 to 11.7km)
Time:  1:10:37
Avg HR:  141bpm
Avg pace:  6:13 min/km
Avg cadence:  88spm

Thanks bearrunner I read on your blog that you’re looking towards possibly doing triathlon. You might want to see my twin brother’s blog on as he’s into triathlon and even did his first Ironman last year. He is wn6jeff on WP, so I guess it’ll be

I’m very happy sticking to just running for now…
