training run #422

Grey and overcast, 8C. Got a bit brighter at halfway point, then went dark again. Fairly ideal conditions for running for me. As I’d missed a midweek run I was keen to do the same 20 mile route as last weekend. The usual calf niggles but no new injuries and no problems. Tried to pace myself to save energy for later, and noted the splits were about 6:00/km, apart from the uphill sections. Thought I was doing a similar pace to last weekend but knocked 4 minutes off somehow. My taper for Manchester marathon starts now.
