Cool and rainy, 10C.  In fact it rained the whole run, some of it heavy.  Went for my usual 7 mile run.  Legs felt a bit heavy and felt a slight niggle at the top of left leg, so took it easy.  Think it was probably the long weekend distance, though I didn’t notice the niggle until yesterday.  Found the comfortable pace easy to maintain and finished with lots of energy left. No reaction afterwards, the niggle seems to have eased off.

Started mild 13C and sunny, ended warmer – at least 15C sunny and felt hotter in the breeze-sheltered parts of Rother Valley.  Set off at an easy pace to leave energy for an extra lap of RV, target 19 miles.  Carried a gel, 4 packs of jelly babies and first outing for a long time of the Camelbak waist pack with 700ml water.  (I’d forgotten to buy a bottle of water)  Paced it nicely and though slowing and tired on the two closing laps of RV I kept it going and finished in OK shape.  No niggles showed up, and really pleased with that.  Pleased with HR too.

Even warmer than yesterday, sunny and 19C. Feeling tired generally so eased off and ran a comfortable pace. No problems. Another nice early morning run and only 2 mins slower than yesterday’s cracking time.

Warm and sunny, 17C. Went for my usual 7 mile run but my legs were still feeling the effects of hedge cutting and tidying the garden on Sunday. Especially my hamstrings. But I kept up a decent pace and surprised myself with the time. Nice run.

Cool 9C and foggy at the start, improving to full sunshine and about 15C towards the end of the run. Did the same 16 mile route as last weekend. Felt fine and kept it steady. Knocked over 2 mins off and average HR was better, 7bpm lower 🙂 Carried the usual 3 small bags of jelly babies and 500ml water. Finished tired but in good shape. A great run.

Cool 14C, and raining. Went for my usual 7 mile route and it varied between moderate and heavy rain throughout. On the far side of RV the wind was driving the rain into me from the front, and it reminded me of the Manchester marathon, except this was 12C warmer 😉 Good weather for the ducks and geese but I only saw two rabbits venturing out for breakfast. Felt fine and pleased with time/pace in the poor conditions, and HR was good.
