training run #533

Cold and frosty, 1C.  Friday’s heavy snowfall is still on the ground so I reduced my planned 10 mile run (3 laps) to 7 miles (2 laps).  Wrapped up well but a cold wind from the north west cut through me.  On this side of RV I was sheltered and could have lost a layer, but on the far side I felt the windchill. The path around RV was almost all flat, evenly compacted snow which was fairly easy to run on. Not too slippy and not much risk of going base over apex. There were two short sections of path that were wet / frozen / rutted badly. On one of these I got wet feet and shins on each lap.  Pleased to get around safely and think the decision to do a shorter run was a good call.

Distance:  11.52km
Time:  1:08:21
