3C, sunny and breezy, rising to 9C at the end. The plan called for a 20 mile run or 3.5 hours, and my long run target pace was between 6:05 to 6:34 min/km. I kept an easy pace from the start end enjoyed the sunshine. Had a gel before starting and three more at 9km, 17km and 25km. Also carried 500ml water and stopped at Swallownest Co-op (13 miles) to buy another bottle; drank both. Went through 13.1 miles in 2:05. I obviously tired towards the end, but no niggles and was able to maintain the easy pace OK.
