1C, frosty, some high cloud and clear skies. The plan called for a 75 minute run with 3x1200m intervals, 400m jog recovery. Again, I enjoyed the change to routine and a nice sunrise. Was able to push to well over the 5:19 min/km target sprint pace, nearer 5:00. My legs knew they’d done a bit extra today, but it was good 🙂 While the cars were very heavily frosted when I set off they were all clear when I finished, the temp having risen to 3C and sun done it’s bit. There were plenty of frozen puddles and icy stretches on the path round RV.

3C, cold, high cloud and some blue skies. The plan called for a steady run in zone 2 for 60 minutes. Enjoyed this straightforward run with the sun coming up, bright orange sunlight shining on me as I climbed up out of RV at the end.
