7C, mild, overcast. The plan called for a 90 minute run including 80 minutes of Marathon Pacing Session – target pace 5:37 min/km. Started MPS as soon as I got to RV and did three full laps. Then jogged up the hill home. Each lap of RV was approx 26 minutes, so that’s 78 minutes of MPS, and I was generally doing 5:30 min/km while at the top end of my HR zone 2. Not difficult but had to keep watching Garmin to keep on pace.

Had a gel before running and carried/drank 500ml water. Wednesday is a rest day on the plan but as I can’t run on Friday due to a work trip I’ve brought forward the Thur and Fri runs to Weds and Thurs.
