15C, sunny, mild. A bit of a breeze for today’s 7 mile run. Legs felt more bouncy than yesterday, but still started out easy. Gradually increased pace from 5:40 min/km to around 5:20 min/km. Felt good and drank 500 ml water. Didn’t wear chest strap as it fell behind some bedroom furniture and didn’t want to disturb sleeping wife. Have since recovered it 😉

14C, sunny, mild. Went for a 7 mile run, and enjoyed a cool breeze. Drank 500ml water. Legs didn’t feel that bouncy so kept in HR zone 2 and a steady pace. No problems.

14C, sunny, slight breeze. Felt a bit fresher than recent weeks, but still warm. Went for the usual 7 mile run with 500ml water. Legs were a bit tired and I ran off a couple of niggles. Not a fast pace, but felt fine.

16C, sunny and breezy. Slightly less humid than of late. Went for the usual 13 mile weekend run. Had a gel before starting, 2 on the run and 500ml water. Glad I put sun cream on the solar panel. Felt strong, had a bounce in my running, but tried to keep the pace easy. As I got to the exit for RV on the way back I saw I was doing a good time so sprinted up the hill and got in under 2 hours :-). I’d put a new battery in chest strap but it would not connect.

17C, mild and cloudy, sun trying to peek through. Another 7 mile run. Stiff headwind on the far side of RV but felt it warm on the near side. Drank 500ml water. Did first lap at around 5:40 min/km pace, and second lap around 5:30 min/km pace. No problems.

16C, overcast, with a cool northerly wind. Went for a 7 mile run, starting slow and gradually increasing the pace. Felt fine, drank 500ml water. Garmin failed to link to chest strap again.

17C, warm and sunny, but with a slight southerly breeze. Went for a 7 mile run. Took it easy for the first 3km, about 6:00 min/km, then upped the pace to around 5:20 min/km to blast past another runner. Kept that interval-type pace going for 1.5 laps, about 7.5km! It’s a good job my Garmin decided at the start it couldn’t find my HR chest strap; I’d have been well into zone 4.
