12C, cool and breezy.  As I’d only managed one weekday run I thought I’d have enough in my legs today for a 13 mile run.  Since my Achilles injury I’ve been increasing mileage gradually and got up to 10 miles, so this is the next step up. Back to my regular weekend distance.  Felt fine, enjoyed the sunrise, and hardly gave my Achilles a second thought.  Drank 500ml water and had 2 gels.  After breakfast my legs stiffened a bit and my Achilles let me know I’d stretched the mileage. But a great run nevertheless 🙂
