2C, cold, bright with high cloud.  A 7 mile run.  Legs were feeling just OK but decided after 2km to do some intervals, 4x 400m with 200m recovery. The sprints were into a strong, freezing cold headwind on the far side of the lake. After that I kept a decent pace and gradually speeded up on the second lap. By now my legs were feeling great. A good run.
