training run #1088

6C, mild, sunny and windy.  Went for a 7 mile run, an hour later than usual as I’m off work for a couple of weeks.  Nice and sunny but there was a strong wind blowing from the West.  Right heel was sore for the first 2 km and thought twice about including intervals, but heel eased off so continued with my plan.  Did 6x 400m intervals with 200m recovery.  Enjoyed it.  Also carried my new camera, not a top spec model but a small, lightweight, waterproof one that ought to be good for wet runs and should be OK if dropped.  Tested it with a few photos and will try out the movie function another time.

Today was another good day for rabbit spotting, they came out on my second lap.
