10C, overcast and mild with mist on the higher parts of the route. A 15 mile run. Legs felt OK but not brilliant, so just enjoyed a steady pace without referring to Garmin. Noticed a bit of stiffness in right calf on and off, I’m sure its linked with right heel soreness. It didn’t spoil my enjoyment. Had a gel before starting, then at 7, 14 and 21km, and 500ml water. Ended up knocking 2 minutes off last weekend’s time and finished strong, could have gone further.

Thought I’d see what I weigh nowadays, not something I check often.
12 stone 2 pounds or 77.5kg
Think if I can cut out or reduce consumption of sweets, chocolate and biscuits I might be able to lose a few pounds and make the New York marathon a bit easier on myself. Will try to be good for a few weeks….
