training run #1133

13C, grey, overcast, cool. A 7 mile run.  Legs were still feeling the effects of weekend DIY, hamstrings a bit stiff, etc., so ran the first lap at an easy pace.  A runner overtook me as I started the second lap and I picked up speed and let them drag me round the second lap at a faster pace. It seemed easy maintaining the faster pace and I enjoyed it.  Was surprised the finish time wasn’t much quicker, but it was down to the slow first lap.

A dab of superglue seems to have fixed my Garmin strap, at least for the time being.
