4C, cool, mostly clear skies, breezy. A 22 mile run.  Legs felt OK but not especially strong.  Just kept a steady pace, didn’t push hard.  Saw a glorious red sky as I ran through Rother Valley and up to High Moor. Had gels at 7, 14, 21 and 28km. Drank 1 litre of water. 

Noticed the 4th gel kick in at 30km as I started an incline, got an energy boost.  It started raining on the 2 mile loop I’d added around Holbrook, nice to see the water beading up on my expensive new jacket 🙂 Makes a change from having it stick to my t-shirt and soak me through.

Could have actually gone further, was tired but not wrecked at the end.
