4C, cold, sunny. A 4 mile run on grass including a hill loop.  Got out early and was rewarded by a remarkable sunrise, beautiful. I almost carried a camera today but changed my mind; wrong call.  Halfway round RV I added a loop up the hill and will extend it or repeat it to build fitness.

Paused at one point for a runner to tell me about their first marathon, at Manchester last weekend. Someone I’ve seen running with dogs at RV and ages ago they had asked me a few things about training.  They were so pleased to complete it and are now hooked on the marathon.

Was going to do 5 miles but right foot started to niggle slightly so stopped.  Lots of stretching and exercises in the glorious sunrise.
