Forgot to blog this early run before my cycle commute on Wednesday. Doing these back to backs on Weds and to/from parkrun will hopefully help me build endurance from running/cycling on tired legs.

An easy paced run around the streets near home. Enjoyed this run in early sunshine.

6 mile run home after parkrun. Hot, 22C. Managed a reasonable effort, just keeping going.

Started towards the back, ran easy for half a mile, then started picking off runners. Enjoyed it. A lot of runners today meant I didn’t pass the start line for 15/20 seconds. Splits show I was increasing the pace, while still thinking ‘I’ve still got to run home after this!’.

Didn’t run Thursday due to fetching Emma from airport and then working in Leeds.

Didn’t run Friday as I had fasted for a blood test and was too busy later in the day.

Ran easy to Endcliffe Park from home (to do the parkrun). Kept it easy on a hot day (18C).
