6C, cold, sunny with clear skies.  An 8 mile run commute into work.  The plan called for mile repeats today, so after the first 2 miles did 3x mile repeats, then cool down run into the office.

Enjoyed it, intervals gave me something to focus on, felt like a worthwhile effort. The crisp weather was lovely.  Drank 200ml water.

12C, cool, windy, some cloud changing to sunshine.  An 8 mile run-commute into work.  After gale force overnight winds, this run was mostly into a strong headwind.  Legs felt tired, this being the third day in a row running 8 miles.  And I had a set of clothes packed into my back pack this time.  Got going though and enjoyed the autumn colours. Drank 250ml water.

12C, clear skies and cool sunshine.  An 8 mile run-commute into work, ahead of catching a train to meetings in Leeds.  Legs felt tired at first, but got going after the first mile.

The training plan called for a few miles at 85% effort/HR, a good long recovery jog, followed by 4x 1 minute sprint with 1 min recovery, then easy to end.  Enjoyed it.

Noticed slight stiffess right calf and left hamstring later.  And heel of course, stiff getting off the train in Leeds.

Distance:  7.72 miles

Time:  1:10:48

Avg HR:  141bpm (wore Fitbit today)

Avg pace:  9:10 min/mile

Calories:  780

16C, warm and breezy, sunny too.  An 8 mile run-commute.  This is a high mileage week, so must get a few long commutes in before a 20-miler next weekend.  Felt OK today but tried to keep it easy, to leave something for tomorrow.  Drank 400ml water.  In spite of running easy the time wasn’t half bad.
