10C, steady drizzle and a cold northerly wind. A 4 mile run, just one lap of Rother Valley.  Kept it easy. Legs got going halfway round, no problems. Drank 500ml water.

4C, cool, sunny with some cloud.  A 3.7 mile run, just one lap of the main lake.  Legs felt OK but a bit sluggish.  Kept this run easy and enjoyed the weather. No problems, next run will be the Manchester Marathon on Sunday 🙂

7C, windy and wet. A 4 mile run. Legs felt heavy today, kept it easy. Didn’t wear HR chest strap. Light rain started halfway around and got heavier as I stretched at the end.

7C, wet, mild. A 7 mile run.  Thought I might avoid the rain by running today instead of Sunday; not so.  Rained from start to finish but I still enjoyed this run, thinking ahead to next weekend and the Manchester Marathon. A bit of precipitation could end up as ideal preparation for that city. Pleased to get this far through the training schedule without a disastrous injury or illness. Noticed that Garmin again showed a high HR part way round, surely the battery in chest strap hasn’t died already, should last longer.

1C, cold, clear blue skies.  A 5 mile run.  A straightforward run in lovely dry, cold, frosty weather.  Lovely sunrise too.  Started at an easy pace and increased it slightly after 2.5k when I saw a runner a short distance behind me.
