Warm and sunny. Went for an easy pace run on backstreets, 2.6 miles. Good to run early morning in lovely weather. Kept it short so I could fetch Emma from work.

Warm, sunny. A 5.1 mile run on trails, searching new routes without gps or map. Enjoyed it and my fitness seemed to improve as I went further. Hot work though.

10C, cool, bright and breezy.  A 4 mile run.  Last run before departing UK for the marathon. Right hamstring still a bit stiff; more rollering later.

8C, cold, overcast. A 4 mile run, tried to keep pace slow.  Noticed right hamstring was tight and it carried on all day.  Put it down to the taper and will foam roller this evening.

10C, steady drizzle and a cold northerly wind. A 4 mile run, just one lap of Rother Valley.  Kept it easy. Legs got going halfway round, no problems. Drank 500ml water.

4C, cool, sunny with some cloud.  A 3.7 mile run, just one lap of the main lake.  Legs felt OK but a bit sluggish.  Kept this run easy and enjoyed the weather. No problems, next run will be the Manchester Marathon on Sunday 🙂

7C, windy and wet. A 4 mile run. Legs felt heavy today, kept it easy. Didn’t wear HR chest strap. Light rain started halfway around and got heavier as I stretched at the end.
